Ventura County Handweavers and Spinners Guild

Meetings & Events
Guild meetings are usually held the fourth Saturday of each month, except November and December. Board meetings begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by a general meeting at 9:30, and fiber-related program from 11:00 to noon. Meetings are held at the Camarillo Center for Spiritual Living, 340 Mobil Ave., Camarillo. The morning meeting and program are free, and visitors are welcome.

Workshops
The Guild offers workshops on a variety of topics throughout the year. These workshops are open to members and non-members; registration and payment of workshop fees is required prior to attendance.

Events

The Guild is committed to promoting the fiber arts and sharing our expertise with our community. Each year, our members demonstrate traditional and contemporary fiber art skills to historical, art, and school groups across the region. This service is free of charge to the community and may be requested by contacting the Education and Exhibits Chair. (Please see Contact Us page)

Annual events include demonstrations of spinning and weaving at the Ventura County Fair and our annual Open House, Show and Sale.
